NS reports 842 COVID-19 cases and schools move online for one week

Students in Nova Scotia’s public schools will move to at-home learning for one week beginning Monday.
Schools will remain open for students who use learning centres and will reopen to in-person learning on January 17th.
Schools will follow public health guidance regarding testing, isolation and case management and more information on enhanced public health measures in schools, including reporting of student and staff illness, will be shared with families next week.
The province also reported 842 new cases of COVID-19.
Nova Scotia Health Authority labs completed 5,410 tests.
