Nova Scotia/PEI ferry caught fire and ran aground

A ferry that runs between Nova Scotia and PEI had a fire onboard Friday morning.
At 11:17 a.m., the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre received a distress call indicating that the Northumberland Ferry “Holiday Island” suffered a fire in their engine room and ran aground.
JRCC say Search and Rescue aircraft from 14 Wing Greenwood, and Canadian Coast Guard Vessels are on scene and have safely disembarked 182 passengers.
18 Crew and seven local firefighters remain on board to fight the fire.
Local fire, RCMP and paramedics are on scene.
RCMP say their role is really limited right now but they are assiting other agencies getting to the scene.
Claire Delisle was a passenger on the ferry and says in a post that she is alright.
