Inverness Co. woman dead after Margaree tubing incident

An Inverness Co. woman passed away while tubing the Margaree River.
RCMP received a call around 5:10 p.m. Friday after the woman was separated from her group.
Due to being in the water and little to no cell reception, when the Mabou woman lost her group no one could call for help.
Police say another group came along and found her in the water.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene near Coady Rd., where the woman was pronounced deceased.
Police say this is a suspected drowning and an autopsy will take place.
