Colten Ellis on the ice at St. Louis Blues prospect camp


A Cape Breton goalie is on the ice in St. Louis this week.


River Denys' Colten Ellis is attending the Blues prospect camp from July 11th to 14th at the Centene Community Ice Center.


Ellis was drafted by St. Louis 93rd overall back in 2019.


Last season he played with the Worcester Railers of the East Coast Hockey League and the Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League.


Prospects will be divided into two teams:


Team MacInnis (Al MacInnis from Port Hood, Cape Breton) and Team Tkachuk.


All prospects will participate in daily practices and scrimmages along with off-ice workouts and team-bonding activities.
