Cape Breton Regional Police seize cocaine and $100,000 cash

Two men face cocaine-trafficking charges related to an ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity in Cape Breton Regional Municipality.
Officers in the Street Crime Unit executed three search warrants under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act during the evening of September 8th on Shore Road in Sydney and Armada Drive in Victoria Mines.
Police seized cocaine and close to $100,000 in cash and arrested two men who were held for appearance in Sydney Provincial Court.
39-year-old Michael Anthony Cusack of Victoria Mines and 42-year-old Jeffery Scott Pearson of Sydney, are each charged with Trafficking in Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Cusack also faces charges for Breaching previous Court-ordered conditions.
