Inverness, Nova Scotia is home to some of the best golf courses in the world and Cabot purchased another course in Inverness.
Not Inverness, Cape Breton though.
Cabot announced they purchased a course across the Atlantic Ocean in Inverness, Scotland.
According to their website,
"Cabot Highlands embraces the rich history and unique charm of the area and enhances it with excellent service, exciting real-estate opportunities, and a distinct culture of warmth and comfort."
Ben Cowan-Dewar, CEO and co-founder of Cabot, says their goal is to create unforgettable memories in magical places and Castle Stuart is the perfect fit.
“Castle Stuart has been considered a benchmark of exceptional Scottish golf since it first opened thirteen years ago.
We are honored to be a steward of the land and carry the original vision for the property forward.
Our goal is to create unforgettable memories in magical places, and there are few places in the world more awe-inspiring than the Scottish Highlands.”
The course in Scotland currently ranks number 72 on the Golf Digest World’s 100 Greatest Courses list.
Cabot Cliffs is number 10 and Cabot Links sits at 39 on the same list.
That means Cabot now owns three of the top 100 golf courses in the world.
