Breton Brewing adding downtown Sydney location
A local beer company is expanding.
Breton Brewing will be opening a downtown Sydney storefront in the near future.
The company says they secured a location and renovations are underway.
Andrew Morrow, co-owner of Breton Brewing, says the Keltic Drive location will continue to be the main building but the new store will help with growth.
"We are really excited for the opportunity to add to the amazing culture here in downtown Sydney. We see so much creativity and can't wait to be part of it! While our Keltic Drive location will remain our main manufacturing facility, our new downtown location will expand our reach in many ways."
Co-owner Bryan MacDonald says this location will also be a creative space.
"We want to bring the welcoming and friendly element of our Keltic Drive taproom to downtown Sydney. This is going to be a space where our brewers will be able to create new and exciting recipes. We can't wait to take you with us over the coming months and update you on our progress."
There's no timeline on the opening of the new taproom in downtown Sydney but the Breton Brewing team says this wouldn't be possible without the support of their Cape Breton patrons.
